3. LAKE ELIZABETH CAMPGROUND, BARWON DOWNS, VICTORIA

Nestled by the Barwon River, Lake Elizabeth Campground is a dog-on-leash, tent only camping area, with the stunning Lake Elizabeth only an easy 1km walk away. Keep an eye out for birds and other wildlife in this peaceful spot, as you soak up all the environment has to offer such as canoeing & mountain biking. Located south of Eildon's township, Jerusalem creek camping ground is comprised of 8 campsites and is perfect for those who love to be near water. With boat ramp access nearby, you can be sure to have great days exploring. There are also many trials and treks in the area where you can be sure to secure a stunning view of Lake Eildon. Keep you eye out for kookaburras, kangaroos and cockatoos which are known to frequent the area.

5. BIMBI PARK CAMPING UNDER KOALAS, CAPE OTWAY, VICTORIA

Located in Cape Otway, is the only pet friendly campsite in the area . This park has everything you could need - forests, beaches and accomodation to suit all you (and your fur friends!) needs. With activities on site such as mini golf and rock climbing, you won't be short of things to do on your camping trip.
